Still alive
Just to say that I'm still working on the website, the introduction is finished with sound and everything, I miss the voice of Richard.
The 1st monster page is well done with transitions sound etc..
The other monster pages just work, without effects and transition for now.
Now I begin the interactive experiences for one or two monsters page.
I hope to get up tomorrow morning.
(shoot... we are already tomorrow morning)

Explanation of graphic choices
Here comes from an old post the first explanation I gave for the interface, Kenton if you can do somethig with this or do it again (I have not time to do it now.. thanks) (there is things to change like.. the background aesthetic, made to build a global frame work.. etc...)
And here is an old post too.. about the audience, good to put on the final presentation.
THE PLANT are taking back the city !
Idea : Plant are everywhere in the city, some of them are giant and dangerous, we feel like we are in a cheesy B-movie.. and we are !
Concept : Immersed in the B-movie visual language you will discover each monster invading the city, each one is located in a famous place of Nottingham. It is a different (and interactive) way to visit the city.
Audience : movie addict of all ages.
Aesthetic references : B-movie trailers, posters, fonts, sound effects, music, cheesy text style.
Aim : refresh the Nottingham image in the mind of the audience, by using a well known, old and funny visual language.

Location text
Nottingham’s Lace Market district is renowned for its opulence, breath-taking architecture and hotels, and restaurants and bars of outstanding quality.
The name of this elegant and trendy area originates from the 18th century. Local entrepreneurs and industrialists transformed the Lace Market from a popular residential area to a commercial capital.
The thriving local industry was dependent on two key inventions. In 1589 William Lee, a local inventor, developed a framework knitting machine which enabled high volumes of lace to be manufactured. By 1808 entrepreneur John Heathcoate further developed this into a hand operated machine and the machine lace industry was born. With the introduction of steam power in the 1800s the production of Chantilly and other luxury weaves brought an economic boom to the district. Over 130 factories were based in the Lace Market along with a population of 50,000.

Question answers
so..
answer :
Question : Laura, ok for your "scroll" I will try, depending of the time left.
answer : everybody, I have all your backgrounds !
Question : Rich & Kenton, I NEED A DESCRIPTION OF YOUR PLACES, to put in the case file because this guide is still a guide to visit the city by a different way.. take example in Laura´s and my case file.
Question : Richard, where are your pictures wide shot for badbamboo I only have your background ? and did you choose your title + font ?
Is the bad bamboo your new monster instead of the jeepers creepers ? Do your wire work is still used in the interactive page ?
question : Kenton, same question.. I can not use the same pic for the background and the wide shot.
question : Kenton, can you give me your title with a transparent background (.gif or .png) ?
question : Kenton, your Black and White pic for the map is it really useful ? I do not know where to put it.. I used the colored one in the home background.
Thanks*

Bad Bamboo...
Name: Bad Bamboo (Fargesia denudata)
Height: Variable
Age: Unknown
Location: Nottingham, Broadway
Victims: Various
Witness account: Sam Watt-Porter, Student
“I’d been down Lace Market getting wrecked and this thing started grabbing at me and my friends, it was horrible. Cos I was so drunk I can’t remember exactly what it looked like, we were so scared running away we didn’t have time to look at it properly. I still can’t believe it took my friend, such a waste of a life.”
A gentlman named Roy Lancaster introduced this bamboo in the early 1990's.
Mid-green leaves and the culms are tinged yellow which can become a rich yellow
if exposed to full sun. However this mutation has taken on a strong red colour,
possibly due to it being a man eater and the blood discolouring its leaves.
Storyboard Speakover
'They came from afar to invade the city of Nottingham. No-one believed they existed until it was too late. Whenever you go out, watch out!! As the plants prepare to take back the city'
Title
Title for the map page..thought id stick with the same font so it all ties in together rather than using a new one. If anyone likes any of these let me know, and if i need to change the colour of any? I prefer the top right one. Also has anyone checked their emails? Looks like we have to have it all pretty much finished by tues..
